-today, the consumer is 100% in control
-consumers have more technology in their pockets than businesses had two years ago
-more time is spent on Facebook than watching television
-more time is spent on Twitter than reading newspapers
If a company is not on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, for three key examples, they're not going to survive the world of marketing in 2013. Consumers are on these places, so businesses need to be there as well.
