pics worth a thousand wordsWe all know that a picture is worth a thousand words. So it should only stress the importance and value of using visual elements in a marketing campaign. Remembering to limit your content and include a strong visual is key to success in any marketing campaign. With the increased use of social media outlets, visuals have shown to be even that much more important. Outlets like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram all have their own ways of focusing on visuals.

-Facebook uses a share method where they allow users to share photos with one another. As wells photo updates can be shared on your friends' timelines, your own timeline, or your company page timeline.

-Twitter allows users to upload visuals by attaching short links to your tweets that connect to uploaded photos. This makes it accessible to all your followers and those searching for the hashtags you use.

-Pinterest is a link sharing outlet where you can pin links and share them on your pinboard. Visual elements are important in making a board look appealing and enticing others to repin your pin.

-Instagram is a mobile application for iPhones and Androids that posts in real-time, similar to Twitter, but uses photo-editing tools to create dynamic visuals.
